Christmas Parade 1.0

For the last couple of years our church has participated in two of the local Christmas parades. We usually give out glow bracelets or necklaces to the children watching the parade, and we give out rolls of tape to the adults to help with their gift wrapping.  It is so much fun to give things away and show the love of Jesus to our community.

We participated in the first of two parades last night.  In light of an upcoming mission trip to Cambodia that some of our church members will be going on next summer, our float was all about injustices and how Jesus is the light of the world.  The float was absolutely beautiful, and we blown away by how many compliments it got!  Several of us walked behind the float wearing signs and carrying candles, while others were handing out the glow bracelets and tape.

Our whole family participated, however C was pretty gripped with Santa-terror the minute we got there.  This is what a terrified C looks like:

This was before the tears started.  The Hubs had to carry her through the entire parade while she buried her face in his shoulder.  She.  does.  not.  like.  Santa.  Haha!  After the parade, we went to the local pizza place with some friends. It made for a fun night indeed.
