We worked on the letters N, T, and J. We started working on positional words like "before and after" and concepts like empty/full and more/less. We also discussed colors and practiced making colors my mixing the primary colors. We talked about fall and Thanksgiving, and I spent some additional time working on rhyming words which he finally seems to have a pretty good grasp on. B is reading nearly 30 sight words. He is so proud of himself, and I could not be prouder of him. C is picking things up at a ridiculous pace as well. If B hesitates too long to answer a question, there is a good chance she will pipe up with an answer (that may or may not be correct!). Of course we are still doing a Bible lesson every day and memorizing Scripture verses which leads to the most rewarding part of homeschooling--watching your children learn about Christ.
