Disney

Our family has only been to Walt Disney World once, but I have been several times and I have plans for there to be many more trips in our future.  This page serves as a running list of tips, overviews, and information that I personally have found useful.  I am in NO WAY a Disney expert, but I do know what I like and what I don't like.  :)

Vacation Overviews:

Dining:

This is not a comprehensive list of everywhere I have eaten at Disney, but you can see several pictures and read details about each restaurant listed.

Websites:

This is a list of some of my favorite and most helpful Disney-related websites.

This website is actually a blog written by several contributors knows as 'divas' or 'devo-tees' if they are men.  As far as information goes, this blog has it all:  attraction reviews, restaurant reviews, how-to videos, packing lists, hotel/resort reviews, tricks and tip lists.  I read this blog daily--whether I am in full Disney trip planning mode or not.

This is the place to go for all things food in Disney.  If you are thinking about making dining reservations or wondering about dietary restrictions, check the DFB.  They have restaurant reviews, menus, pictures, and tons of information about  the Disney Dining Plan.

There are two things that I love about this site:  the cheat sheets and the planning/crowd calendars.  Overall, the writing and opinions can be a little snarky and over-critical, but the two previously mentioned items are real gems.

This site is basically a message board site.  You can create a username and message with other people, create discussions, and read opinions and trip reviews.  It is helpful, but not very user friendly--at least in the opinion of this user.

This site is basically an online Times Guide like you would pick up in one of the parks.  It lists opening and closing times, show times, character greeting times, Extra Magic Hours, etc.  This is really great to check within the last couple of days before your trip for some final plan making.

This is the coup de grace, the grand poo-bah of Disney sites; it has it all.  Menus, park information, resort information, tips and tricks, pictures of pretty much anything and everything, etc.  What sets this site apart for me is that it seems more factual than the others--not just the writer's opinion.  Opinions are nice to read, but sometimes I just want the facts.  AllEars has it.

Building It Up and Making It Fun:

Enjoy!
